Thanks, Patrick!. I just had to reset my desktop configs and now I'm trying to set all the "toys" in place again. Thanks to you I found all the AWN themes I like in just one place. Regards!

Sometimes applications will appear in the AWN dock using icons that are blurry. This means that a small non-scalable icon is being forced to enlarge.
To correct for this and have a dock which uses 100% gorgeous crisp focused icons:
1. Right-click the unattractive blurry icon and choose 'Change Icon'.
2. Go to /usr/share/icons where all the icon directories are located. They are organized by theme and then by icon size/scalability. Use icons within the 'scalable' directories as a first choice; otherwise, use larger icon sizes. Scalable icons are those created in the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) format; thus, they resize ad infinitum without losing any visual clarity. You can also find many icons dumped in the /usr/share/app-install directory.
3. Choose your replacement icon/s. Be creative. And if you ever need to reinstall AWN or Ubuntu and would like to back up your hand-picked custom AWN icons, you'll find them located in /home/yourusername/.config/awn/custom-icons. Back up that directory and you'll be all set.
