Fahrenheit 9/11 Powerful Editorial

Michael Moore's powerful new film editorial Fahrenheit 9/11 pokes fun at the Bush administration on one level but more importantly and more powerfully exposes the evil, dangers and suffering brought on by The President's blind faith in simple-minded world views and arrogant sense of righteousness.

Here's my take...

[title]Bush - The Annointed One

[scene 1] After being told of the attack on the morning of 9/11 and during those infamous 7 minutes of introspection, Bush must have asked himself: what would Jesus do? Alas, no response.

[scene 2] Later, aboard Air Force One, Bush promptly phoned his advisors (Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell). They, to his relief, had just finished the morning briefing with Mr. Christ and so filled Bush in accordingly.

[scene 3 voiceover] And thus sayeth the Lord via Bush: BRING 'EM ON!

[scene 4] Once again, the religious right fell in step like the good little flock they are behind George Bu... I mean their saviour and supported the troop... I mean crusaders and the countr... I mean City on a Hill with all the passion they have always mustered when their true mission is so divinely blessed: proselytizing.

[Credits]Bush. Cheney. Rumsfeld. Ashcroft. Evangelicals. Jesus. God. Amen.
